A beautiful Grade II listed former schoolhouse required a dramatic reconfiguration. We crafted a space for the owner that respected the building's listed features while incorporating all the conveniences of modern design. The redesign included an open-plan living area that maximises natural light, bespoke joinery to complement the period details, and modern amenities that blend in harmoniously with the original structure. The resulting layout offers a perfect blend of charm and functionality.

Grade II Listed Barn Conversion

This Grade II listed barn was in need of some attention when our client acquired it. Given its listed status, our redevelopment options were focused on making use of the barn's existing fabric. We designed two extensions to transform the barn into a spacious family home while capturing the most picturesque views of the arboretum. The team carefully salvaged every brick from the original structure and reconstructed the barn on its original footprint. The extensions were then added to provide the necessary link and additional space for the family.

The Park Estate in Nottingham is rich in character, history, and tradition. At the heart of this vibrant area, the Walton Hotel has been a central part of the social scene for over 100 years. Our brief was to restore this gem with a touch of glamour and elegance. Each of the 20 hotel rooms were individually designed to create a boutique experience that would appeal to even the most discerning guests. The lounge areas, bars, and restaurants were also thoughtfully updated, blending contemporary design with classic elements to enhance the hotel's timeless charm and offer a stylish, welcoming atmosphere for all visitors.
