Juniper Court
This strong building has had a varied history. Starting as a gin distillery in 1912 then becoming the offices for Severn Trent and finally the Probation Centre for the local authority. It had seen hundreds of people come through its doors and was in need of some TLC. We created 19 bespoke one and two bedroom apartments with the help of a steel framed courtyard infill extension and new dormer windows to create living space in the roof. |
Fun in the city!
The refurbishment of this 90 bedroom hotel in the heart of Nottingham was a pure joy. The building is deeply routed in the cities industrial heritage and was formerly a grain store for the brewing industry. When our clients took ownership of the property it had been neglected since the 1980's and was in desperate need of attention. The refurbishment created a luxurious lounge, art gallery, and bar in addition to the boutique hotel rooms. |
A place to grow
701 Milton Keynes
This former office building in the bustling Fifth Street area of Milton Keynes was transformed into modern bespoke apartments. An additional storey was added to the roof and finished in a contemporary Trespa cladding to minimise the view from street level. The ground floor was extended to rationalise the space. The resulting apartments were finished to a very high specification and were snapped up within days of being finished. The building has been fully occupied ever since. Cotels have based there business from the ground floor of the building which was fitted out with custom glass screens and relaxing break out spaces. |
Grade II listed beauty
The Park Estate in Nottingham is full of character, history and tradition. The Walton Hotel has been at the heart of the social scene in this area for over 100 years. Our brief was to put a splash of glamour back into this gem. The 20 hotel rooms were individually designed to create a boutique hotel fit for the most discerning guests. The lounge areas, bars and restaurants were also sprinkled with style. |
Former warehouse given a new lease of life
This former textiles warehouse was given a new lease of life after being vacant for years in commercially difficult times. The front elevation now has added kerb appeal with the installation of a goalpost of cladding and energy efficient glazing. On the rear facade a new entrance to the first floor was created. Allowing flexibility for the new tenants. All six of the new units now have long term tenants. |
